"Business Russia" Committee on energy saving and energy efficiency, Energy Efficiency and construction Project Center of "Business Russia" in cooperation with the company "Bayer" and the National Association of polyurethane panels (NAPPAN) February 12, plans to hold a round table discussion:
"Problems of the technical regulation in the process of new building systems development based on polyurethane. Goals to reduce energy consumption by 2020".
Meeting targeted to consider new opportunities for innovative building materials based on polyurethane. Discuss energy efficiency in the construction industry, based on the successful experience and proven solutions in Western Europe. Proposals will be worked out for further development of innovative insulating materials segment, expanding the scope of the construction materials of polyurethane, including through harmonization of Russian and European standards and norms.
Tasks roundtable:
- Accumulate expertise and information on the existing rules and regulations affecting the consumption of foam insulation in construction.
- Discuss algorithms for changes to existing rules and regulations.
- Identify the views of government supervising structures, business community on the possibility of joint actions aimed to increase the use of foam insulation in construction.
- Build a road map for the harmonization of standards in the construction industry to increase the use of the most efficient technologies for insulation - insulation.
- Develop the form of funding of harmonization process.
Suggested topics for discussion:
- Innovative building materials and their role in improving the energy efficiency of buildings.
- Review of new methods of energy efficiency building and construction, building on the successful European experience.
- The process of harmonization of European standards based on the «EN14509».
- Discuss the possibility of creating a common database standards and energy-efficient construction technologies, exchange of this information and its implementation.
- Perspectives for empowerment of polyurethane foam in construction.
- Barriers to use of foam in the construction industry, possible steps to neutralize such barriers.
- What are the technical regulations which should support the standards of polyurethane construction.
